FAMILIES
ADACEN, is an association which was created by families of persons who had suffered cerebral s damage with the aim of improving the quality of life of those affected by this kind of injury and to prepare the family for the impact, especially those who are the carers of the dependent cases.
For this reason, one of the strategic lines followed is the one to prepare the dependent cases to take care of themselves as much as possible and to ensure that the carer is also capable of caring for the patients. To do so, the entity, with specific programs, aims to provide the resources to allow the family carers to carry out their tasks in the healthiest and best possible way, expanding the intervention to embrace the perspective of care for the carer.
Training and support for the family members of dependent persons contributes towards improving the quality of life of the patient and indirectly, that of the family carers as well.
