PSYCHOPEDAGOGY
This discipline exists to study the person and the settings, within which learning takes place, taking into account all the contexts that intervene (personal, socio-cultural, family). Through its methods, it can bring to light the cognitive potentiality as well as the emotional and social surroundings to ensure a better development in the activities that the person executes.
The psychopedagogy intervention is considered as integral and integrating and it means the need to identify possible actions depending on the objectives and contexts towards which it is directed. These should count on three basic principles: The Principle of Prevention, The Principle of Development and the Principle of Social Action.

In Adacen the mission of the psychopedagogist is: to favor the learning process within normalized surroundings which are functional. Psychopedagogy depends on the strengths of the person and their conserved abilities after suffering ACD. It works to improve, stimulate and/or develop the skills involved in the learning process. To identify the learning problems which can arise from diverse factors such as immature cognitive, the location of the damaged body parts, a lack of motivation to learn, family problems or social ones (internal factors/external factors). It tries to overcome learning difficulties through the development of cognitive abilities as well as social and emotional abilities. To strengthen and rehabilitate people who have suffered ACD and who need to learn once again what they have lost as a result of the stroke and to do so by teaching them specialized methods to facilitate understanding. It is necessary to evaluate and intervene in a psychopedagogyical manner in the different areas (social affection, cognitive, behavioral, psychological and emotional intervention). To be re-educated.
