COOKIES POLICY

In compliance with what is laid out in article 22.2 of the by-law 34/2002, of 11th of July from the Services of Information and Electronic Commerce, this web page here in this section explains its outlook towards the use of cookies.

What are cookies?

A cookie is a file which is downloaded to your computer when certain web pages are opened. The cookies allow a web page, among other things, to store and recover information about the surfing habits of the user or his computer and, depending on the information which it contains and how it is used by the computer, can be used in order to recognize the user.
These files of texts and numbers contain small quantities of information which may be sent to the device of the user (be it a computer, Smartphone or tablet…) whenever this web page is visited by someone. Although the cookies are sent to a device they are not capable by themselves of acceding to personal information, nor of transmitting viruses. They can only track the surfing of the web page. At the same time, this element could store itself in the hard disk of the user’s computer so that we can recognize it when it returns to our web page. In other words, you can be recognized when you return to our webpage or to another site that the cookie recognizes and in this way your device is recognized.

In any case, there always exists the possibility that the user can specify, in the preferences of the server that he wishes to use, to receive a warning before accepting any cookies. The data which will be stored in each cookie are the following: date and time of the previous visit made to our web page; a design of the contents that the user chose in the first visit made to our Web and elements of safety which intervene in the access control to restricted areas, whenever processed.  Equally, the web servers of the website can automatically detect the IP address and the web name used by the user. All this information is registered in the activity file of the server which allows the later processing of data with the aim of obtaining measurement statistics that will make known the number of pages prints, the number of visits made to the web server, etc.

Types of cookies:

• Self-same Cookies: those cookies which are sent to the device of the user from a machine or domain managed by the editor himself and from which comes the service that has been requested by the user.
• Session Cookies: These types of cookies are designed to collect and store data while the user has accessed to a web page.
• Third-party Cookies: are those cookies which are sent to the terminal device of the user from a machine or domain which is not managed by the editor, but by another entity which deals with the data obtained by way of the cookie.
• Analysis Cookies: These are cookies which are either treated by ourselves or by third-parties which allow us to quantify the number of users and so carry out a statistical or analytical measurement of the uses made by the user of the service on offer.
